For dampness, we are recommending the Tramex Moisture Encounter Plus (MEP). Included as the best moisture meter option for both kits. A Non Destructive, pin-less meter that electronically tests for dampness in both wood and building materials. This incredible meter works by scanning walls, floors etc, to a depth of 30mm, providing an instant, non-invasive indication of damp problems. The meter will even detect dampness behind tiles and under carpets. This is essential tool for non-invasive damp testing, just about anywhere around the home.
