The SpeedTrac X Radar Gun is the one of the newest generation of Speed check Sports Radar guns. Ideal for use in measuring speeds in baseball, hockey, football, tennis, cricket, lacrosse, squash, cycling, skating, racquetball, in fact any sport where speed is involved. If it moves, the SpeedTrac radar gun can clock its speed.
Radar guns are the most effective way to improve skills in many sports. Offering the user immediate feedback for whatever sports your in-to. Coaches, kids, and parents, love the SpeedTrac radar gun because it makes learning, and practice, more fun! The SpeedTrac system is a non-handheld speed radar unit that can be placed directly on the ground using the built-in stand, or mounted on any standard camera tripod. It means you don’t have to hold it, as with most standard radar speed check systems. It has a large 3-digit LED display built in - so just one person - the actual player, can use it!
The SpeedTrac system displays greater accuracy than the older 'SpeedChek' radar system it has replaced, and features better reliability than the older system.
The new SpeedTrac registers speeds up to about 150 mph or 199 kilometres per hour, with increased range, a faster processing speed, and a new 2.5’’ (60mm) 3diget large LED Graphic display.
The SpeedTrac Speed Sport Radar Gun utilizes Doppler radar technology. The same technology used in police radar devices.

A single person can use this Radar Gun! – It doesn’t need a second person to hold it.

Designed for a range of high and low speed applications such as hockey, baseball, softball tennis, soccer, racquet all, lacrosse, skating, running, jogging, cycling, auto racing, autocross, carting, ATV Racing, RC Cars, Speed Pitch Booth, and much, much more!
Please note:
Radar is subject to "Angle Error". The formula is Cosine of angle X actual speed = radar reading. At small angles the error is very small.
If angle is 5 degrees, then radar will read 99.6% of actual speed Example speed 50 MPH gun reading 49.8 MPH
If angle is 10 degrees, then radar will read 98.5% of actual speed Example speed 50 MPH gun reading 49.2 MPH
If angle is 15 degrees, then radar will read 96.6% of actual speed Example speed 50 MPH gun reading 48.3 MPH
